About Us

Candy Diamond-Krupitsky MS, OTR/L, CHT received her Master of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from Shenandoah University. She received futher training in the rehabilitation of traumatic hand injuries at the University of Maryland Medical Center and the Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, Maryland.  Candy spent several years in practice at a sports medicine and rehabilitation facility where she specialized in upper extremity rehabilitation.  

Mrs. Diamond-Krupitsky has earned the distinguished credentials of Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) demonstrating the advanced knowledge in all areas of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder.  
She established Hands On Therapy in 2001 to address the occupational therapy needs in the community.  

Tara Carloni MOT, OTR/L, CHT has been an integral therapist at Hands On Therapy since 2002.  Tara received her Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from Texas Woman's University in Houston and began her training at the prestigious Johns Hopkins Hospital.  Mrs. Carloni continued her committment to upper extremity rehabilitation at the Curtis National Hand Center and has also earned the coveted credentials of CHT.  She is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Michelle McCarty MS, OTR/L, CHT, CEAS came to Hands On Therapy with a Certificate in Advanced Practice in Upper Quadrant Rehabilitation from Drexel University.  Additionally, she holds the credentials of Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist, International Weight Lifting Federation Strength Training Specialist, ACE Certified Personal Trainer, and of course CHT.  Michelle is also an alumni of the Curtis National Hand Center and guest speaker at Towson University.  Ms. McCarty is a national Speaker for hand and occupational therapy and is proud to call Hands On Therapy her new home.

Our Office Administrator, Shannon, and our Techs Karen, Julie, Sarah, Amanda, and Quinn, welcome our clients to the facility.  Our team will go above and beyond to ensure you are treated with respect and dignity and help to provide a calm, comforting and healing environment.
