What is Hand Therapy?
Hand Therapy focuses on the rehabilitation of the upper extremity. It addresses carpal tunnel syndrome, tendinitis (tennis/golfer's elbow), arthritis, fractures, trigger fingers, amputations and nerve injuries, just to name a few. Occupational therapists treat these disorders by using a variety of techniques to assist individuals in regaining their independence in daily activities.
